Welcome to Isle of Wight Day

Isle of Wight Day is an annual key date in the calendar which started in 2016 by Former High Sheriff Robin Courage, as a day for all Islanders to come together to celebrate all that is great about the Island.

We encourage you to Hang out your Isle of Wight Day bunting (but please take it down after the weekend and pack it away for next year) and get into the spirit of this huge community celebration. Let’s all celebrate together!

Isle of Wight Day C.I.C was established in 2022, this transition to a C.I.C was made to enable Isle of Wight Day to better support the Island community and to provide the organisation with a clear mission and vision for the future.

Our Vision is:

To enable all Island residents to experience and enjoy the unique benefits that the Isle of Wight has to offer.

Our Mission is:

To collaborate with local Island attractions, businesses, schools and voluntary organisations to create social inclusion across the Isle of Wight so that all Island residents, regardless of their financial or social situation, can benefit from the range of offerings the Island has.

“Bringing our Island community together to celebrate our amazing Island, it’s people, culture, history, food and just about everything that is great”.

What is Isle of Wight Day

We are not a festival we are a traditional community event, putting the needs of the Island community at the heart of what we do.
